PETG Sheet
PETG or PET-G (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol) is a thermoplastic polyester.
It can tolerate a tremendous amount of pressure without cracking. Its unique characteristics make it preferable for impact-resistant glazing and high strength display units.
Its damage resistance is far higher than acrylic, to the point that it rivals the impact resistance of polycarbonate. It is well-suited for fabrication techniques like die cutting, routing, and bending.
One of the reasons it's growing in popularity is that it can be easily vacuumed, pressure-formed, and heat-bent due to its low forming temperature quality. PETG is also readily recyclable.

Why Choose PETG Sheets from Laird Plastics?
High Impact Strength
PETG delivers exceptional toughness, resisting cracking and breakage even in high-use environments where durability is essential.
Forming Versatility
Easily shaped using heat or pressure, PETG adapts well to thermoforming, bending, and fabrication processes with clean, accurate results.
Exceptional Clarity
Its glass-like transparency enhances product visibility and presentation, making it ideal for displays, glazing, and signage.
Food & Medical Compatibility
Meets regulatory standards for direct contact with food and use in medical or laboratory environments where hygiene is critical.
Cost-Effective & Recyclable
PETG provides excellent formability and toughness while remaining an affordable and sustainable choice.
PETG Cutting & Fabrication
We offer custom plastic cutting and fabrication, including finishing, routing, and bending.
Applications of PETG Sheets
Retail & Display Fixtures
Ideal for merchandising displays, shelving, and point-of-purchase stands that demand both strength and visual appeal.
Printing & Graphics
Accepts inks and finishes well, ensuring crisp, vibrant results in digital printing and custom graphic applications.
Thermoformed Packaging
Performs exceptionally in vacuum-formed or pressure-formed packaging applications that require clarity and structure.
Medical & Laboratory Use
Suitable for trays, housings, and enclosures that require impact strength, chemical resistance, and easy sterilization.
Heat-Formed Components
Excellent choice for vacuum forming and pressure-forming due to its flexibility and ease of molding.
PETG vs. Polycarbonate
Looking for clear, durable plastic with excellent impact strength? PETG offers outstanding clarity and easy thermoforming. When maximum toughness and heat resistance are essential, Polycarbonate is the go-to choice.
